Dear colleagues,

someone of you is studying / is interested in studying the European CO2 market?

The European Climate eXchange is selling futures (called ECX EUA Futures) which "is a deliverable contract where each Clearing Member with a position open at cessation of trading for a contract month is obliged to make or take delivery of emission allowances to or from National Registries in accordance with the ICE Futures Europe Regulations."
This kind of market would become more and more important when Kioto 2 will become a reality - expecially for some activity sectors, like aviation.

I've collected some data - in the form of time series - about the evolution of the price of such future, and I think it could be interesting to study its evolution compared with the price of other commodities or other indicators..

What do you think?
