Multimodal distribution

Dear all,

               I am interested to know about normalizing data having multimodal distribution.Can any one help in this regards? Thanks in advance.

I would first try to separate the variables which are causing the multimodal distribution in the first place. If not, you can try the "ladder of powers" rule to try to transform it into something you can work with.
