Statistical Analyst - New Product Innovation (Marietta, GA)

  • Build predictive models based on financial data.
  • Analyze correlations between the various data elements housed in the eVestment database.
  • Generate product ideas and provide input into the design of statistical models for potential products.
  • Develop and assess the validity of new product concepts that involve statistical models.
  • Participate in the New Product Innovation team’s regular review of the product pipeline.
  • The candidate will work under general supervision, but a certain degree of creativity and latitude are required and encouraged.

  • Previous statistical financial analysis and forecasting experience.
  • Experience with R, SPSS or SAS.
  • SQL experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team to rapidly deliver results and to assess the validity of product ideas.
  • Superior professional communication skills.
  • Ability to handle large data sets and comfortable with financial terms.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., creating pivot tables, using functions).
  • Visual Basic programming in Microsoft Excel is a strong plus.
