My comment: The Appendix B on Data Mining Software (vendors) lists a few unknown tools and is missing several important ones (Pivotal, Tibco, Splunk, HortonWorks, Lavastorm etc.) You will find a more comprehensive list in my book listed at the bottom. Similarly, chapter 19 on "Ten great resources for Data Miners" is biased, featuring blogs for which she regularly writes, and missing bigger ones like Data Science Central or ACM.
