A Data Science Central Community
Skytree (www.skytree.net) today announced open registration for its “What's Your (Big Data) Problem" Contest in its attempt to identify one company's big data challenge and then to deploy its Skytree Server to solve the problem with a one-year free solution including consulting. I can send you the release with more information if you are interested.
The request for company participation runs from today, Dec 6 through Jan 11, 2013. Founded by machine learning experts and entrepreneurs Dr. Alex Gray and Martin Hack, Skytree Server has been deployed at major retail, financial, academic, and scientific institutions. Machine learning solves some of the most demanding big data issues where other approaches simply cannot handle the massive amounts of data nor identify granular information that matters. Please let me know if you would like more information and/or a discussion with Martin Hack or Alex Gray. We'd be happy to make an introduction.
With the "What's Your (Big Data) Problem" Contest, the winning company receives a one-year license for Skytree Server valued at $100,000, which includes consulting services and data modeling. Five runners-up will receive free machine learning consulting from a machine learning expert. Entries will be judged based on the universality, emerging data science, and clarity of the big data challenge posed.
Best,
Kate
