Delete Comment Hi Asad. STATISTICA generates PMML 2.0 and 3.0 for different modeling techniques. Also, from my experience, sometimes the PMML export may not be valid. Please, use the PMML Converter to get a clean file. The converter also corrects known issues.
If you still have errors after conversion, work with the converter to get a clean file. It tells you what went wrong so that you can correct the file yourself. For info on how to use the converter, see below.
If continue to have problems, feel free to contact me directly. We have worked with STATISTICA PMML files before and were able to upload all files into our engine. Also, Michael and the KNIME folks may help you. The greatest thing about PMML is that at the end of the day, you will be able to move your model around.
Delete Comment Hi Alex and Michael, I was trying my PMML script on KNIME. It was giving me the error "Invalid PMML file". I don't know the reason. Because the STATISTICA extension for PMML script is .xml it might be a reason. Please help me out.
Delete Comment Hi Asad, that's a good question and I hope the RapidMiner folks will answer you directly. From what I know, they are currently implementing support for PMML export. I am not sure if PMML import is on their plan at this point. KNIME on the other hand already supports import and export of PMML. So, you may give it a try. Hope this helps. Best, Alex
Glad you used the converter. The file you got back as a download is a PMML file. Comments are embedded in the converted file if there are any warning or errors. So, look for those. You should also now have a PMML 3.2 file.
Give it a try in KNIME. If you encounter any problems, please contact Michael Berthold and the KNIME folks.
I forgot to upload the converted file. Find it below. Basically, the attribute "activationFunction" is required for the element "NeuralNetwork" and so the converter adds that piece to the PMML file. That is a problem we have seen before with STATISTICA PMML files for neural networks.
I have downloaded one PMML model example from zementis website. I want to upload this in to STATISTICA 9.1 for deployment but STATISTICA is unable to upload. Currently STATISTICA is using 3.0 version.
I want to know may I convert PMML 3.2 version in to PMML 3.0 version.
Sorry, but from my understanding, STATISTICA allows you to export models in PMML, not import. If you are trying to upload PMML into a model building environment, two open source options are KNIME and Weka. Microstrategy can also consume PMML models (as well as other vendors). Please, check:
In STATISTICA Automated Neural Network It has an option for deployment of PMML Model. But I am observing it is taking PMML 3.0.
My question is may I down convert the PMML 3.2 to PMML 3.0. Please help me.
