I Bill, this was high on my priority list so thought of giving you a buzz on your page itself (hope u don't mind).

I am talking about your reply to my question on modeling rare events. You mentioned the use of splines - and I must say that since my exposure to the same is minimal, it will be great of you can explain a little more.

On the point of creating many sample and fitting a model across sample is that method too for from the bootstraping methodology ?
