Dr. Jeffrey Strickland is a Senior Operations Research Lead Analyst and Data Scientist. He specializes in predictive modeling, simulation systems, statistical analyses, marketing analysis, segmentation analysis and business Analytics. His goal is to make a positive contribution to the technical expertise of business and industry enterprise operations.
He is an internationally recognized Expert and Author in predictive and mathematical model development, military systems simulations, and systems engineering, and is frequently invited to offer workshops and tutorials. As a prolific writer, he written many LinkedIn Posts, and has published 15 books including "Predictive Modeling and Analytics" and "Introduction to Crime Analysis and Mapping".
Jeffrey is a subject matter expert in numerous techniques including time series analysis, and data mining techniques. He is proficient on a wide range of tools, including SAS, SPSS Modeler, R, MATLAB, ExtendSim, and Arena simulation. His expertise also includes proposal development, modeling and analysis of customer behavior. He will emphasize a model using experimental design in analytics projects. He has worked on numerous acquisition programs, including ballistic missile defense, space launch vehicles, automated reporting systems, satellite systems, air defense, and force structure. He is also proficient in exploratory data analysis, statistical techniques, statistical modeling, stochastic processes, probability, cluster analysis, decision trees, factor analysis, simulation model validation, discrete event simulation, logistic regression, heuristic techniques, econometric models, and research techniques. Finally, he has innovatively developed statistical algorithms and tools for descriptive statistics.

I love Buzz Lightyear nearly as much as I love Forrest Gump. But Buzz did not quite understand infinity. My teenagers will argue with me over stuff, like who is the most adorable, saying that they are more adorable than me, and add “times infinity.” Well, they do not quite understand infinity either. I would venture to say that I do not understand the essence of the infinite, but just as Forrest knows what love is, so do I know what infinity is—and what it is not.
