Most of the profile question are optional. You can choose to not answer them, except (I believe) your birthday. This is a requirement from our hosting network (ning.com), and I have suggested peeple to provide a random date (we don't use it anyway).
analyticbridge.com is hosted on ning.com, and datashaping.ning.com and analyticbridge.com are the same and both point to the same location.
I've been an analyticbgridge member for about 6 weeks. After I logged in this morning I was forced to add data to my profile before being served group content. This is puzzling because I've been a member long enough to receive related mail for several weeks. Also, I had an image in the profile that I used on another site, one hsoted by ning.com. But I don't think it is appropriate here (the other site isn't career-related) so I'm not using it. Using the same image across websites doesn't make sense. Can anyone explain how these things work or tell me where the appropriate information can be found?
