I am a second-year MBA student at the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. I am interested in the Online Marketing Analyst/Marketing Research Analyst.

I believe that I am a good fit for the position as I have a strong analytical (SPSS, SAS, and Coremetrics) and retail background. In addition to a Master Degree in textile engineering and professional experience in managing textile national standards, I worked in the Advanced Products Group at The North Face last summer as a Customer and Technology Analyst. My main assignment was to develop a strategy for sustainable material product lines. I assessed business opportunities and risks based on analysis of consumers, competitors, and suppliers. This was a great opportunity to apply my skills in marketing analytics and strategy. The experience strengthened my desire to continue to develop my career in Analytics.

In Dec. 2007, I received a Fried Fellowship for the 2007-2008 year, one of the most prestigious awards at the Johnson School, awarded to five second-year students each year solely on the basis of academic achievement and leadership. I notably served as the president of The Fashion, Luxury, and Lifestyle Club at The Johnson School. In less than one year, I transformed our two-year-old club from an idle organization to one of the most active clubs within the school. One of our most recent events is the Roundtable Luncheon Event in NYC, which brings in top executives from the fashion and accessories industry to educate Johnson students about retail.

I have taken the following Marketing Analytics courses at the Johnson School: Data Driven Marketing, E-commerce, Marketing Research, Consumer Relationship Management, Product Management, and Strategy and Tactics of Pricing.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule an interview.

Best Regards,
Mia J. Lee
