Ron Schneier is a senior media and sales executive with the unique ability to create and market both content companies and information/research businesses . Mr. Schneier was with A&E Television Networks for seventeen years ( 1985-2002) and was a key member of the executive team that built four television networks including A&E , The History Channel, The Biography Channel and History International.
In June 2003, Ron joined VNU/Nielsen to create a new business unit, Nielsen Ventures. Nielsen Ventures leveraged VNU's extensive existing media, CPG and entertainment services to create new assets for the company including an innovative Nielsen television ratings business for sports marketers and an on- line consumer insight business for CPG clients. Mr. Schneier was also instrumental in the acquisition of Buzz Metrics the leader in social media measurement where he served as a board member.
Mr. Schneier joined myvideorights as COO, North America in September 2010. myvideorights simplifies the digital video landscape to create new profits for leading content owners throughout the world.
Mr. Schneier is a well respected and innovative leader in the media industry who has extensive experience in building both media and research companies.
