I’ve been an Internet professional for 10 years, the first six as a front-end developer and team lead, planning, creating and maintaining over 25 fortune 100 company websites.
The past four years I've been a Business Analyst/Analyst. I’m currently a Sr. Analyst at Critical Mass, a Calgary-based Digital Marketing Agency. Since joining CM in February 2007, I’ve been building measurement programs for clients from the ground up, through implementation of web analytics and multi-channel (online/offline) data analysis using traditional database marketing techniques (RFM/ROI, and Customer Lifecycle).
I’ve been expanding the Analyst practice in the Chicago office (we are currently hiring – contact me if you are interested) and also providing operational support through team management and the development of new techniques and standards.
Critical Mass supports the Web Analytics Association, with Analysts participating in several committees and regularly attending and hosting Web Analytics Wednesdays in Chicago and Toronto. I am an active participant on the WAA Standards Committee as well.
I’ve completed the Web Analytics Association Award of Achievement in Web Analytics program through University of British Columbia and am currently enrolled in the UC Irvine program extension taking a course on Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence.
I will soon be finishing my PhD in systems engineering focusing on data-mining and decision support. Before my PhD I spent twenty years in the telecommunications industry where I achieved many product/service development successes. I am interested in Critical Mass and would like to talk to you to see if I fit in.
