Thank you very much, Steve, for the insights -- it definitely serves to point me in directions I previously hadn't thought of -- especially concerning informational interviews. And, based on your comment, I think maybe Pharma might be an area to concentrate on. I also think that the nature of the work in that realm would be very interesting.
I know that's not the specialty you work in presently, but if you hear of any Pharma/SAS training programs whereby the sponsoring body also has a high placement success rate, please let me know.
I was wondering in what capacity do you use SAS software? And, how did you land your present position?
I'm interested in eventually working in an analytical role -- hopefully in the area or finance or web analytics, although I would definitely consider anything -- even part-time projects -- in order to gain experience. I'm currently studying to become certified in SAS Base programming.
