I'm a lecturer and contract software engineer with an interest in statistics and data mining. I recently completed an M.S. in statistics at Texas A&M, and I'm currently teaching statistics courses at the University of Houston. I also do contract work for ZogoTech, an Austin-based firm that makes data warehousing and reporting software for higher-educational institutions.

In one of you previous posts, you mentioned that you were taking a course at statistics.com. I'm considering taking a first course with the intentions of pursuing the Data Mining path.
Have you completed other courses from them and would you recommend them all? My biggest concern with taking the jump is the course duration/workload. How did you find the workload for the short duration of the course? Did you need a lot of time to complete the readings/assignments? How did you find the evaluation methods?
Any other information that you can share would be greatly appreciated.
