I just passed my PhD exam this week. Unbelievable, no changes are required for my thesis according to the examiners . My research topic is about Bayesian modelling of spatial data. I am now looking for a job. I have a particular interest in developing my career in the business world. A job that can take advantages of my statistical skills and computing background will be desirable, such as quantitative or statistical analyst/consultant in finance, marketing or pharmacy. I was doing my PhD in a univeristy in London. During the time, I was employed by the univeristy as a part-time lecturer in statistics, teaching students majored in finance, economics, management and marketing about quantitative approaches for data analysis.
I still stay in London now. I will be glad to be reallocated to other places in UK or other countries. BTW, I am a Chinese.
