Digitized hand-written signatures. For people regularly dealing with entities such as governments or paper-loving companies requesting manually signed documents (W9, etc.), here's an online solution: a new startup offering to automatically get your documents signed without using paper nor a scanner. Here's how it works:

Anything to eliminate paper, fax machines (seriously, who uses a fax?), and otherwise streamline and reduce the piles that appear in an office is a great idea. But this one may have already been taken. There are several iPad apps and non-iPad apps that already place your signature (including your actual signature via camera capture) on a document.
In The Netherlands where I live, we have a similar technique, is called DigID: It is a digital signature implementation concept, introduced by the government. You signup and a username password is sent to you by normal post. You can then use those for any interaction you have with the governmental web sites.
