Bayesian Networks for Structured Equation Modeling

Hi,

I am looking for tools/approach/... on how to use bayesian networks in Structured Equation Modeling.
Any suggestions on articles/books to refer?

Thanks a ton Lionel.
You inputs were very useful. We have actually used the free version of the tool to implement it.

Hi,

You will find below a link to a presentation describing how we propose to use Bayesian networks and data mining as a pragmatic alternative to Structural Equation Modeling, PLS and Path Analysis.

http://www.bayesia.com/en/products/bayesialab/resources/case-studies/PSE.php

The main steps of the workflow are:
- Unsupervised learning to discover the direct probabilistic relations between the Manifest variables
- Variable clustering based on non linear measures to discover the Factors
- Multiple clustering to create a hidden variable per Factor
- Unsupervised learning with Manifest and Factor variables

Regards,
Lionel
