Think of the blog posts as references in a paper, only these references may never see a published paper but they reflect what I am thinking about; what I am using as the basis for the advice I give my clients.

An update on this philosophy FYI - if I am actually using a piece of research which is quantitative, I will refer it here if I can, as a sort of "hat tip" as well as a contribution to the ideas outlined above.
