If it's not Market Basket Analysis - what can it be ?


A Telecom prospect has asked for alternatives to Next Best Offer method for their fast moving/changing value-added services. Their target audience is prepaid users.  They claim that the traditional market basket analysis (affinity analysis) is not a valid method.

You could use form of "Time Series Clustering".   Goal would be to cluster similar customers into groups and see how they perform over time.
