Time Period for Analytical Positions Recruitment.

Though having rough estimate of how much time each analytical position recruitment takes (i.e. due to experience in the filed); thought of giving a quantitative touch using a real sample. Herein I would like to thank 13 recruitment agencies that provided the requested details. Most of the sample belong to India recruitment only.
Below figure provides average time period i.e. number of months to fill a said position for analytics. Wherever possible we have provided domain (Retail/CPG & BFSI) specific time as our sample has around 30-34% of data for these domains.

Hi Chandrasekhara,

This post highlights results from India only, though we have some information of recruitment activity of USA. I am not discussing that here.

Best Regards,

Dr. Pradeep Mavuluri.

dr. Pradeep M.

Do you have sufficient recruitment activity in the USA or only recruiting from India (local candidates) for even assignments in the USA.. Thanks

Hi Siddharth,

We currently don't have much sample size for USA, hence cannot comment much on US recuritments times quantitatively. But our earlier research says much of junior analysts and analysts in US will be hire on contracts, coming to senior analyst/team lead levels time lags might go up by one more month (4weeks) max.

I am curious to know the time frames in the US. Would you have a good enough sample size to that for US? I am expecting the recruitment times to be much higher in the US.

Hi Andrew,

I have grouped experience levels (1+, 2+, 5+ and more) as shown in the infograph. Coming to salary details, they are confidential.
