Why IBM has invested $12 billion in data analytics (in Forbes)

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- IBM is projecting $16 billion in revenue for business analytics by 2015. It's a big focus for Big Blue, which has invested more than $12 billion in the sector, snatching up 23 analytics companies over the past five years. Forbes' Kym McNicholas sat down recently with Jeff Jonas, chief scientist atIBM's Entity Analytics group, to talk data.
